MARINE TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION CENTRE INC. (MTCC) is a Maritime Training Centre created by the late Dr. Hugo Torrijos Richa, the “principal architect of modern Panamanian shipping” according to the Fairplay Magazine, in order to provide training and other services for seafarers.
Our Training Centre has been authorized by the Panama Maritime Authority (since 2006) to provide training courses to all seafarers in full compliance with the requirements of the 1978 STCW Convention, as amended, international & national regulations from the Administration.
In an effort to adapt to new regulation and attend the market, MTCC is working in cooperation with Maritime Training Centers in different continents having obtained the recognition for Branches that comply with all the requirements from the Administration.
